On Wednesday 16th November, British Airways are changing their existing reward currency BA Miles to a new name - Avios.

The British Airways American Express® Card is designed for those in the United Kingdom who have average credit and travel regularly via British Airways. Through the reward program,
you'll earn one mile for every £1 spent on purchases. In addition, you'll receive 9,000 bonus miles after you spent £1,000 in your first 3 months of cardmembership. There is no yearly limit to the number of miles that
can be earned. Miles are redeemable for travel with British Airways and, if the spending on the card reaches £20,000 or more in one year, you'll receive one free companion ticket.
The interest rate for purchases and balance transfers is above average, and it is not ideal for those who plan to carry a revolving balance. However, this card has no annual fee,
