Based on the total cashback earned over 2 years (after annual fees have been deducted) on a monthly spend of £750; including an introductory bonus of 2.5% in the first 3 months of Cardmembership and a flat ongoing rate of 1.25% on all purchases (calculated using the ONS Family Spending 2010 Edition household expenditures by category). **As of 30 September 2011 the American Express Platinum Cashback Credit Card offered the highest ongoing and uncapped cashback rate available across virtually all purchases, regardless of spend level. This does not include: additional cashback offered only on selected categories e.g. petrol or supermarket; introductory bonus cashback rates offered for a limited period only; or tiered cashback rates over an annual spend of £10,000. 1. An annual cashback will be payable to you by us at the following rate: 1.25% on every full pound spent and charged per purchase, excluding cash withdrawals, foreign exchange and travellers cheques. 2.
