The Alaska Airlines Visa Signature® Credit Card is designed for those who frequently fly on Alaska Airlines. Through the reward program, you will earn two miles per dollar spent on Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air tickets and vacation packages, up to five miles per dollar spent at select restaurants, and one mile per dollar spent on all other purchases. You'll get 20,000 bonus miles upon approval and 1,000 bonus miles for applying online. There's no limit to the miles you can earn, they are compatible with the frequent flyer program, and the miles do not expire as long as the account remains active within a three-year period. The interest rate applied to purchases and balance transfers is reasonable for a reward card, and the annual fee is reasonable as compared to other signature airline reward cards. Common services and benefits are also provided.

Cardholders Comment/Review/Rating "The perks offered through Alaska Airlines are truly top notch. They practically hand you miles and perks right and left. The $50 companion ticket is not a gimic, you really can use it on any paid fare... it's even easy to use on the internet. I love the bonus points and think the anual point bonus is a nice way to justify the annual fee. Lastly, use the card to rent a car and you never have to worry about insurance again. The cons are all on Bank of America's side. Their web site is not very friendly if you do not hold checking accounts through them. I had difficulty activating the card and BofA is frequently late in sending the statement. If it weren't for the perks with Alaska Airlines, I wouldn't even think of owning this card." Jason, 1/25/2006 "Works for me. I don't use the card for anything but Alaska tickets or if I happen to be in one of the restaurants that give 6 miles/dollar. I maintain it because of the annual companion ticket - I live in Seattle and my wife and I fly at least once per year to Alaska or Mexico, which are expensive fares, so the $50 companion ticket usually saves me between $150 and $200. Never had a problem booking a ticket, as far as I know there are no restrictions (other than a $250 maximum discount). If you can't use the companion ticked, the card is certainly not worth the $75 annual fee. Never needed customer service, so I can't comment on it." Otto, 12/29/2005 "I really really like this card. This card has to be one of the best on the planet. Along with alaska airlines excellent customer service, bofA's customer service is outstanding as well.
