ARC Travel MasterCard® Review The ARC Travel MasterCard®, issued by the Security Savings Bank, is for people who travel frequently and need an alternative to traditional credit cards when paying for purchases. This card has no monthly or annual fees and applications can be approved after verifying the applicant's identification. There is a minimum deposit requirement, however. Cardholders can only reload their card with a minimum of $100. The maximum amount allowed for a deposit is $2,500 with a maximum stored value amount of $9,500 at any given time. Cards are funded by your own money. There are a few fee free; reloads; however, reloads that are done using a credit card and via wire transfer do carry a fee. If cardholders charge their loads to a credit card, the fee applied will be 4% of the reload amount. Wire transfer reloads are $9.95 per occurrence. If the card is inactive for more than 12 months, you will be charged $2.50 for each inactive month that ensues. Cards are only valid for the first 24 months after being issued. Any remaining balance on the account after the card expires will be refunded as a check if the cardholder requests a refund (minimal fees apply). You will have access to various free features including free mobile, e-mail balance alerts, and MasterCard Global Service™.
