The Baby Phat Prepaid Visa® RushCard™, issued by Manufacturers and Traders Trust Company is a stored value card perfect for those of you that do not need to build or establish your credit. And those who may have difficulty in obtaining a standard unsecured credit card. The card does offer shopping discounts at participating retailers, which is rare for a stored value card, as this type of card usually does not offer any extraordinary benefits or services to cardholders. This card allows you to make payments in advance, which are then used to offset future purchases made with the card. Advance payments can be funded directly to the card every pay period through direct deposit of pay or government benefits. Through the referral program, each time you refer a new applicant to the Prepaid Visa® RushCard™, you'll earn money. Although there is a $1.00 fee applied each time you make a purchase (capped at $10 per month — additional purchases are free), there is no fee for making direct deposits to the card. Direct deposits, pay pal transfers and mailing in a check or money order are free. However, affiliated merchants do charge a flat fee for retail reloads. There is also a one-time activation fee of $19.95; however there is no monthly participation fee. Overall, this is a good option if you need a card to make purchases and payments. Another unique feature of the Baby Phat Prepaid Visa® RushCard™ is the Cash Back Rewards program. Transaction fees that are incured past the $10 cap per month are deposited back onto the cardholder's Baby Phat Prepaid Visa® RushCard™ on the 15th of every month. Unfortunately, this card does not report cardholder transactions to the credit bureaus, which is not ideal for those who are trying to establish credit. Therefore, those who are looking for a low cost stored value card, would like to earn cash back rewards, and would like to receive shopping discounts at participating retailers will benefit most from what the Baby Phat Prepaid Visa® RushCard™ has to offer.

Overdraft fees was my biggest problem. I was charged 30 dollars once for an overdraft of 16 cents. With Rush card you cannot over draw from your account. I LOVE THAT I can spend and not be penalized. Of course, you are spending your own money but you don't even have to record every penny. If you are too low on your balance, you can't use the card. Anytime you use the card, the money comes off your balance immediately. Love my Rush Card. The Rush Card offers so many of the desireable features of a debit card without any of the undesirables that many other cards tend to have, like a recurring monthly fee, or activation charges that I've seen as high as $120.00. It's only 19.95 and you pay it AFTER, that's right, AFTER you get your card. You can load your card by wire transfer, mailing in check or money order, from another Rush Card holder, direct deposit, you name it. Moneygram says that it can take up to 24 hours, but I routinely have my loaded amount show in less than 1 hour. The card offers online transaction history in real time and the customer service department is very thorough in answering any and all inquiries. I used to have an Ecount card and this was not the case, nor was customer service available for customer service as they closed at 5pm each day !! Forget about weekends. Anyway, I highly recommend this card for all of your cc uses, I travel with it, rent cars with itand unlike a bank debit card YOU NEVER HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT NEGATIVE BALANCES THAT EAT UP ALL OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. Ever notice that thebank can always justify feeing you to death ???? I can't speak highly enough about this card. Get it and forget about all of those other high fee cards."
