However, the most attractive feature of this card is the 0% introductory rate that is offered for the first twelve billing cycles and applies to balance transfers and cash advance checks. In addition, there is no annual fee with a low interest rate for purchases. The rate for balance transfers is reasonable after the introductory rate expires.

Cardholders Comment/Review/Rating "I just recently recieved my BOA Platinum Plus card about a month ago. First off, I applied around the time that they merged with MBNA and applied on Oct 29,2006. After repeated calls and frustration I ended up getting another credit card in the meantime. It seemed as though they were dragging their feet about getting the card sent to me, anyway I got it around Jan 11, 2007. I was kind of surprised because I had given up on getting the card. I don't have time to set around and wait on the bank. Ok. Next, I love the fact that I can pay the card online through my online banking. The payment posts in 2 days. It has Total Security Protection and they review your account every 6 months for a credit line increase. I'm re-establishing my credit and I have found this card to be very useful for what I am accomplishing. It is from a huge bank so it looks good on my credit report in addition to paying it off every month. I got a $500 with a $99 collateral. Alot better than the fully secured. Apparently they do not advertise this card. So apply for a regular card, even if your credit is bad, and it will counteroffer with this card if your credit score isn't that bad. I haven't had any problems with this card so far. In addition, the new card design is attractive. Looks good when I take it out. I haven't had plastic in 3 years. But I am young, 23, and am capable of making the payments. I love my card! I'm keeping this one!" L, 2/16/2007 "A Good Card. It saves me a lot of money, compared to those other high interest credit cards that I used to carry with me. I can actually see my balance going down dramatically with my Bank of America Visa Platinum, where with my other cards my interest rates would basically eat up the payments I made, it was like I was making payments for nothing. I actually balance transferred from a few of my high apr credit cards and now I feel so much better. Transferring balances was soooo easy!!! The customer service department is very nice and easy to deal with. They even started me out with a 0% apr on purchases and now past the intoductory period I still have a low apr. That is very important to me. I do not feel that people should be ripped of by those high aprs. I am very happy with my Bank of America Visa Platinum. The card looks very nice to. I would definetly recommend this card to anyone looking for a low apr credit card to transfer those high aprs to. It saves me so much money each month and it is so wonderful to see your balance go down instead of remain the same every month, basically giving your money away.
