Applicants of this offer are eligible for any one of the following four cards, depending on their credit history.The Orchard Bank Platinum MasterCardŽ is ideal for applicants who want a credit card to help their credit history, but without the requirement of a security deposit. The annual fee depends on the applicant's credit history and may range from $39-$59, with zero processing fee. Depending on your creditworthiness, you may qualify for a better offer, no annual fee and processing fee Platinum MasterCard with 0% Introductory APR on purchases and balance transfers. Another member of Orchard Bank's Classic MasterCards profile is the Orchard Bank Gold MasterCardŽ. The annual fee is $69-$79 and applicants should expect to pay a $19-$29 account processing fee. The Orchard Bank Classic MasterCardŽ is another offer. Both the annual fee and the application fee are $49. In the first year alone, cardholders can expect to pay $98. The final card is the Orchard Bank Secured MasterCardŽ. The major benefit of this card is the reasonable $35 annual fee, which is waived for the first year of cardmembership. The deposit for this secured card earns interest annually and the card provides additional cardholder benefits which is unusual for a secured credit card. These cards share common benefits including credit bureau reporting, 24-hour customer service assistance, online account access, and periodic credit limit increases for those who qualify. Cardholders Comment/Review/Rating ""I am still happy with Orchard. I posted a review a few months ago and again, Orchard raised my credit limit from $500 to $900! They raised my limit twice in one year! Why? I did what I was supposed to do this time and not mismanaged my precious credit. I did recently shred this card and am paying off the balance. It is not because of bad service or anything, I recommend this card to anyone trying to rebuild credit and want to still be respected and treated fairly. It is because they have served their purpose and now, thanks to Orchard/Household taking a chance on me, I now have a card with a higher limit and a fixed 9% APR with a very reputable and respectable company. I have also obtained other new cards with ok interest rates and great limits so the cards that I utitlized to get to this point, like this card and First Bank of Marin, (with their ridiculous 23.99% APR), I shredded and no longer use. I would like to thank Household for taking a chance on me. I also had an auto loan with Household but I refinanced with Wells Fargo. I went from an interest rate of 14% to 10.99! I did call Household first to see if they would refinance me and they said no...so that turned my off and I went elsewhere and am very happy I did! Sometimes, companies wanna continue to make that higher interest off you whether you are doing better or not..so I had to move on. However, Household Bank is alright with me, I had to re-start somewhere and this was one of the best places I could think of to re-evaluate and get myself together. Thanks Orchard/Household!" Have had the card for about 6 months, overall its been good for me considering I'm currently rebuilding my bad credit; pay every month, and make small purchases. Reports to all three credit bureaus." I read reviews before getting it and it seemed a better way to go than First Premier for rebuilding credit history...the only fee was the annual fee. I have made all payments online and I have never had a problem with the website or with the payments posting properly. Just last week, I messed up and needed to make a Saturday payment because my due date snuck up on me--I used the express pay feature which cost extra and it posted that day. Next time I will just schedule the payment way in advance. I have yet to ask for or receive an increase in the limit even though I got the lowest maximum. I do charge something every month and pay it promptly, so I have not yet had finance charges either." LB, 3/8/2006 "Great Card. I'll stay with them forever - This card is great. I have had absolutly no problems with them whatsoever. They gave me a $2000 limit when nobody else would even read my application. I have gotten regular credit increases and outstanding customer service. In the 18 months I have had this card, I have paid it on time, usually early. And always online. One time, I forgot to send in a payment and didn't realise it until the due date. I very quickly went online and sent the payment using the quick pay option which costs 12.95. (I screwed up, so I'll pay it). Much to my surprise, I got an email confirming receipt of payement and a note telling me that the quick pay fee was being refunded. Imagine a credit card company refusing to accept a fee. I will have an orchard card forever." Johnny, 10/21/2005 "The Best from the Rest - It took a long time for Orchard Bank to approve me for their card. But when they did, it was opened in March 2005 and I received my limit increase 6 months after. I have had no problems with this card. I paid my monthly bill on time and sent them more than the minimum amount. Customer services has been really good to me whenever I called and had questions. And besides you don't have to pay a monthly participation fee, like Total Card, First Premier, Visa Rewards 660, Aspire and Tribute to name a few with their very HIGH annual fees!" Dionne, 10/7/2005 "Great Card for Credit Rebuilding - I have been an Orchard Bank MasterCard holder for more than 3 years now. After my divorce, my credit was beyond horrible. I should have filed bankruptcy but I chose to rebuild slowly. I managed to get this card unsecured with a $200 limit. I paid bills with it every month and paid the balance in full at the end of the month. This tactic worked great for me as I rebuilt my credit. After 3 months I got a $100 increase then 3 months later another $200. This has been going on for 3 years now. Once I got enough credit on the card, I used this card to fix other blemishes on my credit. Needless to say, my credit rating is now outstanding and I continue to use my Orchard Bank card. My experiences with customer service have been very pleasant. I have even gotten them to remove the overlimit fee(twice) when I forgot about the annual fee which put my card over the limit before I paid it off. They are also very thorough when it comes to preventing fraud. Every month I pay the balance in full then around the middle of the next month I pay all my bills with the card which is about $2300 in charges in one day. Customer services always calls the next day to make sure I made the charges despite the fact that I have been doing the same thing for the last 13 months. I read the complaints of other users but the common denominator was they maxed out the card but couldn't pay. The card is only as good as the person is responsible that uses it. That's just like any other card. I recommend this card to anyone rebuilding credit that will use it responsibly." Sidney, 5/4/2005
