The Citi® PremierPass® Card - Elite Level is ideal for frequent flyers who want an airline reward card that is compatible with multiple airlines for a reasonable annual fee. The best feature of the reward program is that you'll have access to unlimited free companion travel. You'll earn two points per dollar spent at gas stations, supermarkets, drugstores, and commuter transportation and parking merchants, and for any airline ticket you purchase with the card for yourself or someone else, you'll earn one point for every mile flown. Plus, you'll get one point per dollar for all other purchases, and you'll receive 20,000 additional bonus points after your first $600 in purchases are made within 90 days of the account opening. You can redeem points for flights on any airline with no blackout dates, discounts on hotel stays, retail gift cards, electronics, and statement credits through the ThankYou® Network. I have both, and would have to say that my AmEx card has the definite edge. Premier Pass Elite Level has numerous benefits, many of which are lost in translation when trying to obtain insight on how to use them. Some customer service reps. were unaware Premier Pass even has a concierge service! When I informed them it was in my welcome packet, they put me on hold for several minutes; then gave me another number to call. Citi should dedicate a seperate website exclusively for Premier Pass Elite cardholders. This would be educational and exclusive for customers and easier to introduce new products.
